TenMicron has a balanced approach to working with owners and operators to ensure that the vessels and crew are fully ready. Each vessel is different, as are the demands from the owners, and managing the expectations of all parties is key to ensuring that the vessel and voyage is a success. Our owner's representative services are defined as a “one call” solution, and we ensure we are embedded in the vessel operations and management, ensuring the owners can have a trusted resource for all aspects of vessel ownership.

Shoreside support for a vessel, with or without full vessel management services, is critical to vessel operations. From provisioning and bunkering, through to more specialist services requested which are outside of normal operations, each solution can be tailored to the owners requirements. We have provided technical and project management for large planned events on board ensuring that the vessel is ready.

A company providing owner representative services to the private yacht industry acts as a liaison between the yacht owner and various stakeholders involved in the yacht's construction, management, and operations. These services include overseeing the yacht's build or refit process to ensure it meets the owner's specifications, managing budgets, timelines, and quality control. The company also ensures compliance with maritime regulations and handles contract negotiations with shipyards, designers, and suppliers. Additionally, the representative may assist in crew selection, operational logistics, and maintenance schedules, ensuring that the owner's vision and interests are consistently upheld throughout the yacht's lifecycle.

We have written specifications for new builds, worked with ship yards, project managed the building of vessels, provided the build oversight teams and expertise as well as been the objective voice of reason in making changes during building.

Electrical

We manage complex automation systems and electrical propulsion. With modern power plants and switching systems, variable speed engines with DC generators, medium voltage AC systems, variable speed drives, valve control, and anything else with a computer and wire attached to it, we can assist. We are usually called to help when owners have had no luck getting support or others have not solved the issue. We guarantee resolution, and can provide work plans for manufacturers where we do not have full access permissions to the system (in most cases we can access).

IT & AV Systems

TenMicron provides full IT systems for private owner vessels. Satcoms through to end user software and network infrastructure and cyber security, we provide full service support for your vessels with 24 hour support line and 24h maximum time to on-site where needed. Our expertise touches on lighting controls and audio systems, as well as entertainment systems installed for owner and guest use.

Navigation Systems

Tenmicron has vast experience in integrated bridge systems and integrated navigation systems, as well as all other ancillary safety systems which form the bridge and its safety management systems. Fire detection, Hi-fog, watertight doors, security systems and everything else, we can help with these systems and make sure you remain sailing and compliant.

Hotel systems

Hotel accommodation and public spaces rely on complex lighting controls and reliable HVAC systems, and with these systems being heavily automated to ensure accurate operation and energy efficiency, our engineers can support whatever systems you have.

We can provide services worldwide in most cases, and depending on workload we aim to be on the vessel within 36 hours, or 12-24 hours if urgent and dependent on vessel location.
Yes, we do this a lot. Talking to a crew member and having any relevant drawings being sent to us, we can and have many time assisted with a fault or issue without direct intervention.
Use us when you don’t have an answer or others cannot get it right. Then call us the first time next time.
We are happy to discuss in a generic manner the projects and works we have completed, and to share the feedback from the ship owners, managers and crew, but we do not publish pictures or comments of our works for the privacy of our clients. If you are reading this website, it is most likely due to a referral from one of our clients as we do not actively advertise.
